Current Students of Doctorate in Criminology
Graduate students in both the Masters and Ph.D. programs are emerging scholars from a variety of academic backgrounds such as Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, and law. They have diverse research interests that foster unique student partnerships for projects and publications. Many receive University funding as research or teaching assistants or undergraduate instructors. The Criminology graduate students are dedicated to rigorous scholarship; many present their own original research at the annual conferences held by the American Society of Criminology and/or the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Recent graduate students' publications have appeared in journals such as Trauma, Violence, & Abuse; International Journal of Offender Therapy & Comparative Criminology; and Violence & Victims.
