Jen is a first year doctoral student in the Department of Criminology at the University of South Florida.  She completed her M.A. in Criminology at the University of South Florida in Spring 2011, and she received both her B.A. in Criminal Justice and B.A. in Sociology at the University at Albany, State University of New York.   Jen’s research interests include general strain theory and the role of race and ethnicity in the juvenile justice system.
